SIDRAP — The Muhammadiyah Institute of Health and Science Technology (ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap) has once again produced hundreds of graduates through its 23rd Yudisium Ceremony, attended by 967 participants from various study programs across three faculties.
The yudisium ceremony was held at the Iqra Auditorium of ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap in two sessions, morning and afternoon. The event marked the completion of the students’ academic processes while also signifying the beginning of a new chapter in their professional lives and careers.
Of the 967 participants, the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FKK) contributed the largest number of graduates, with 790 alumni, comprising 216 Midwifery Professional graduates, 113 Nursing Professional graduates, 353 Bachelor of Midwifery graduates, and 108 Bachelor of Nursing graduates.
The Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) graduated 78 alumni, consisting of 14 Diploma III Pharmacy graduates and 64 Bachelor of Pharmacy graduates.
Meanwhile, the Faculty of Health Technology and Science (FKTS) graduated 99 alumni, comprising 6 Diploma III Dental Health graduates, 69 Applied Bachelor of Dental Therapy graduates, and 24 Bachelor of Health Administration graduates.
Professional and Vocational Oath-Taking Ceremony
The 23rd Yudisium Ceremony was not merely an academic formality. It also included an oath-taking ceremony for professional and vocational graduates, representing an important commitment to carrying out their professions responsibly, with integrity, and in the public interest.
The oath-taking ceremony involved the leaders of several professional organizations, including the Chairperson of the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI) of South Sulawesi, the Chairperson of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) of South Sulawesi, the Chairperson of the Indonesian Association of Dental and Oral Therapists (PTGMI) of South Sulawesi, and the Chairperson of the Indonesian Association of Pharmacy Experts (PAFI) of South Sulawesi.
The ceremony was also attended by religious leaders representing Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism, reflecting respect for the diversity of the graduates’ beliefs while reinforcing the moral and ethical values required in professional practice.

In his address, Rector of ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap, Dr. Muhammad Tahir Saenong, S.K.M., M.Kes., congratulated all yudisium participants on successfully completing their education at ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap.
He stated that although the yudisium marked the end of the academic process, it did not represent the end of the graduates’ journey. Rather, it marked the beginning of a new chapter as they entered the workforce and professional life.
“The yudisium marks the completion of the academic process, but it also marks the beginning of a new chapter as graduates enter the workforce. The knowledge and competencies acquired at ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap must serve as a foundation for contributing to society,” the Rector said.
He expressed the hope that the alumni would carry not only their diplomas and academic degrees, but also the character, integrity, competence, professional ethics, and spirit of service cultivated throughout their education.
The graduates are also expected to adapt to developments in science and technology and respond effectively to the increasingly complex challenges in health services.
967 Alumni: New Energy for the Health Sector
With the graduation of 967 alumni through the 23rd Yudisium Ceremony, ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap has once again affirmed its contribution to preparing competent and professional human resources for the health sector.
The graduates are expected to help meet the demand for health professionals and health administration personnel in health-care facilities, government institutions, organizations, businesses, and other sectors.
The 23rd Yudisium Ceremony also represented an important moment for ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap to reaffirm its commitment to producing graduates with academic competence, professional skills, and strong character, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of public health. Meanwhile, the graduation ceremony of ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap is scheduled to take place on December 19, 2026.
Congratulations to the 967 alumni of the 23rd Yudisium Ceremony of ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap. Although their academic journey has come to an end, their service and commitment to benefiting society have only just begun.
